First Christian Church of Vallejo Turns 125!

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Vallejo began in September 1899. This year, we are celebrating 125 years of making noise in this community. Learn all about FCC Vallejo here.

Our 125th Anniversary celebration will take place on September 21st and 22nd. 

On Saturday, we will host an open house from 11am-4pm. Snacks will be available throughout the day, along with games, activities, and plenty of opportunities for fellowship with friends old and new. The entire church building will be open for self guided tours, with multiple displays on our history throughout the building. We will also have representatives from our various partners in faith and mission at the open house to share more about the important work that they do. The day will conclude with a brief service of thanks and recognition to all those who have made this anniversary celebration such a wonderful event.

On Sunday, our regular morning worship service will focus on our anniversary, with a catered lunch to follow. The service will feature a very special guest preacher, Rev. Terri Hord Owens, the General Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.
