It is time again for Yearbook reporting!
ALEX Yearbook reporting is now open and you can begin entering your church’s report data for 2024. The ALEX Yearbook is like the Disciples family portrait, and we want your church to be included in the picture! We look forward to receiving your data.
Your congregational reporter should have received a reminder email with log in instructions. If you’re not sure who your reporter is, go to alex.disciples.org and click on Look up my reporters list. To change the username and contact email, login to ALEX and go to Settings (gear icon), change the contact information and click Save.
If you forgot your congregation’s username, email alex@disciples.org and include your congregation’s PIN or name/city/state. The ALEX team can look it up for you.
Attached are the revised ALEX2 Congregational Yearbook & Directory worksheet and report form to work from and enter your church’s information into the ALEX2 system or email/mail back to the regional office and we’ll input it for you.
7 REASONS to complete the ALEX Yearbook Report:
- Cultivate covenantal relationships between congregations, regions and general Church
- Contribute to understanding trends in membership, attendance, outreach and giving
- Continue your congregation’s non-profit corporation status
- Help your regional ministries in understanding your congregation to provide appropriate support and resources
- Provide statistics that contribute to important research for the Disciples in U.S. and Canada and mainline denominations
- Provide verification when applying for loans or grants
- Create a historical statistical record for your congregation that will outlive current generations
