Greetings from CCNC-N Youth!

It has already been a great start to the year for youth ministries! In February, we spent a weekend at the beautiful Community of the Great Commission, with a small, yet fun, group of 5 youth. Our keynote speaker was our regional minister Lataunya Bynum, and we had a wonderful time laughing, learning new games, and exploring the campgrounds with a small group of 5 youth. The current members of the youth council are Bowen Tang, Will Thompson, Sean Gordon, Gavin Wann, Abijah Steenhouse, and Makayla Sierra. We are hoping to add a few new members this coming year. We continue to strive to find new ways to connect with each other and our congregations. We are excited to be in the midst of planning our first “triple camp” where all camps will be held during the same week and be able to share activities and games with different camps, while still leaving space for our own. We have incredible directors lined up for each camp, and staff in the works! I am incredibly thankful to work with a group of youth that know how to uplift each other and walk with each other in faith. This ministry is so vital to the church, and I am grateful to you all for supporting it. Many blessings!
