The 170th Annual Gathering is being held at First Christian Church in Concord and has been a joint effort by members of First Christian Church in Concord, First Christian Church of Vallejo, Christian Church of Vacaville, Live on Purpose Community Church, and Lafayette Christian Church. Of course, the Regional Staff has been invaluable—Rev. Dr. LaTaunya Bynum, Rev. Dr. Monica Cross, Rev. Kyung-Min Lee, Haley Monachello, Diana Silva, and Jim Thomas!
Our keynoter this year is the Rev. Dr. Kelly Colwell, who serves as the co-senior minister of First Congregational Church in Berkeley. Our guests from the General Church include Rev. Dr. Chris Dorsey, President of Disciples Home Missions; Rev. Rosario Ibarra, Disciples Church Extension; Rev. Jonathan Beckham-Brink, Pension Fund; Rev. Monica Myers Greenberg, Christian Church Foundation; and Rev. Angelique Jordan Byrd, Director of Communications, Office of General Minister and President.
I want to thank all the volunteers who helped make this event a success!
