
Dr. Sharon Jacob's research focuses on gender and sexuality studies, feminist and postcolonial theory, race, and whiteness. Her publications include Reading Mary alongside Indian Surrogate Mothers and essays on motherhood, nationalism, and sexual violence in biblical texts. She has contributed to volumes such as Womanist Biblical Interpretations, Handbook to Asian American Biblical Hermeneutics, and Ecological Solidarities. A regular contributor to Electronic Feminist Studies of Religion, Dr. Jacob writes on topics including race, caste, whiteness, and systemic oppression.
