At the 2010 Annual Meeting business session on Saturday afternoon, April 24. The Regional House of Representatives accepted New By-laws by a vote of 80 in favor, 8 against and 2 abstentions. This brings to an end a three year process of research, input from across the region, editing and an unanimous recommendation from the Regional Board to accept the new By-laws. It also will begin a one year transition time of implementing these new guidelines for Regional ministry and mission. They will become our guiding document at the 2011 Annual Meeting, April 29, 30, May 1. A Transition Team will be appointed soon by the newly elected Executive Committee of the Regional Board meeting in early June and confirmed by the Regional Board meeting Saturday, June 19 at FCC Corning.
