Regional Mission Trip

CCNC-N Regional Disaster Recovery Mission Trip from April 13 to 19, 2025.You have probably been moved by the scenes of devastation after the hurricanes in the Southeast United States. As Week of Compassion tells us after each natural disaster, the most helpful thing you can do right now is send money. This is the time when professionals need to respond. It takes time, sometimes years, before the affected areas are ready to have volunteers come in to work. We have been in touch with Week of Compassion about sending a team from our region in the Spring of 2025. They have told us that the area will not be ready for volunteer groups by then. We hope we can be of assistance there by 2026. They suggested that we continue to spend our Holy Week/Holy Work trip on helping fire victims here in our region. Many areas have been forgotten about, even though there are still people who need help. Often the struggle with insurance companies can take a year or two, so some homeowners don't know what they need help with until after the disaster has left the news.
Most likely it will be here in Northern California. You can come and go as your schedule allows.
